Once the battery has reached capacity which is controlled by the two ADJ resistor that trigger the 555 timer to switch from the battery to the dummy load. Thus, preventing the overcharging of the SLA Battery. The momentary s/w for (green; dump) and (amber; charging) is to force the condition to either dump -or- charge. The ADJ resistors control the balance of voltage when the battery is 11.9v (to charge) and when the battery is 14.9v (full capacity).
