Thanks Billy, deliberately kept it dim as LED’s tend to be super bright these days.

@hurz ... highlight the voltage across the LED along with highlighting the LED itself to see the current. Then turn the one and only resistor down to say 2k ... you will then see the volts and current changes ... Robert adjusted the resistor to suit that, and lenzrulz made the point that the resistor alterations effect that LED. ... where's your problem?

And what is the voltage in value? Numeric please! What is the maximum voltage of a joule thief? Or for you @2ctiby, what is the back emf voltage of a coil in Volt please? LOL
