Cockcroft Walton multiplier 9V DC to 60V DC

Here's a fun little project I've been wanting to do for a long time. It works like this: A 9V DC input is fed into a 555 timer circuit to generate a 0v to 5v square wave, this signal (green on the oscilloscope) is then fed to an AC coupler (the capacitor and 10kOhm resistor at the output of the 555) that offsets by around -4.5V the signal, generating an AC wave that goes from 4.5V to -4.5V (the orange line), this signal is then fed to a 2 - stage Cockcroft-Walton Voltage multiplier to give us the blue-purple output of 60V, you can keep going with the CW multiplier as much as you want, it's the same pattern repeating (look it up online).
