I really don't understand these extravagant 5+ MOSFET systems when the same can be achieved by a few components, can someone PLEASE explain to my idiot mind why these systems have to be overly complex? What benefit is there to having more components than less

The idea is let a thing relatively simple more difficult. In fact, some mosfets are not necessary.
