Direct Current and Alternating Current to magnetize or demagnetize tools or parts.  

110 line voltage to bottom part of old radio choke ( the upper right rectangle is removed to reach center with wound inductor coil (coil in simulator raised above to make connections clearer).

Two SPDT throw switches to show one DPDT switch to bring in Copper Oxide Rectifier from old A- B battery eliminator or battery charger rectifier. 

Three SPST switches show layers of copper oxide rectifier. Electrons flow from bottom copper plate through middle copper oxide layer to upper soft metal plate.

Pilot lamp is optional if desired.
