Electricity becomes lethal when it passes through your heart, lungs, or brain for a sustained period of time.

Our normal heart receives a short electric shock of 0.0000012 amps every second or so to make heart muscles contract to squeeze blood through out the body.

Modern electric chair executions use voltages of 2,000 to 2, 200 volts at seven to twelve amps for 2 to 2.5 minutes.  Things get hot and melting inside.
 
Industrial electric shocks can kill as low as 42 volts DC passing through the body.

Poor and weak health can kill with less.

Take necessary care when around electricity.
