An 8-bit synchronous up-down binary counter using JK flip-flops. When the LOGIC source  at top right is set HIGH counter counts up. When set LOW, counter counts down. 

"It's just a jump to the left, then a step to the right.
 Put your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight.
 But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane.
