the outputs have become a resonant LC circuit, and they feed back to the inputs internally.

Should it be doing that? I am thinking probably not.

Isn't resonating with the logic delay output capacitors

Change the logic delay you'll see the frequency changing

Cool, as selman said its the gate propagation delay. And Faceblast you saw this impact already in one of your first tests, were FFs have a crosstalk from Q to not Q and backward. Q up Qnot down or wise versa. 181kHz with 10uH -> 1/(L*(2*pi*f)^2)=77.3nF cuz both sides are cap grounded and build a 180degree PI filter cap must multiplied with 2 makes 154.6nF. According to the propagation tau=RC by a fixed given 10 Ohm, Igor sets C to 154.6nF which result in a propagation delay of 154nF/0.144 ~= 1.07us. Check your gate settings ;-) this factor 0.144 is out of me first reverse engineering inverter gate delay analysis and propably not 100% exact for RS latches. Anyway this calculation gives us control of the feedback and its ocilllation, but it does NOT explains why FF do have this strong Q <-> Qnot crosstalk and is this realistic!

"cross"-talk set, reset from output side. Sure RS lachtes are internaly X'd http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5134353496014848

ah I see; the outputs have made a series LC circuit, and the outputs are tied to the gates internally

Why am i getting "unknown component"? You can buy upgrades now?

Buy it or stay away
