How to Bias a Differential Amplifier

This circuits shows that biasing techniques for a differential amplifier's top side. First switch button changes biasing between a voltage supply and a bias generator circuit. They supply the same voltage. The second switch connects the first one or makes a diode connection to left - top pmos. It works better in this circuit but one of differential output is lost. Enjoy!

Tail part of differential amplifier is directly connected to Vdd. It is better if you want to have an enable pin. You can switch differential structure to off. Disadvantage of it is high power consumption. In normal design, it should also have another biasing circuit. This differential amplifier is used as a comparator, not an analog amplifier.
