2 x 2.2v LEDs controlled by 230Ω potentiometer to dim one and brighten the other as a ratio of the wiper position. 

Challenges I faced: Understanding placing a 230Ω resistor ahead of the circuit to limit max output at any time to 2.2v, then a 230Ω potentiometer to allow the pot to dim one while brightening the other without overpowering the higher-power LED.
