Double voltage with preamp 20 volts out of a 12 Volt ac spply

This little circuit Outputs nearly the double voltage as given. 
In This case it was designed for a pream which should boost the voltage.
If you need more Ampere and fewer restwave then increase the caps.
The less Ampere you need the better the dc voltage is.
