A question, why the two 100k resistors in parallel?

200k ohm resistors aren't available in the store I go to buy styluff. However, 220k ohm resistors are available.

The two 100k resistors are in series, not parallel.

THEY ARE MEANT TO BE IN SERIES FOR A GOOD ASTABLE MULTIVIBRATOR.

Change the 10nF capacitor to 5uF and set the transient time to 1 s/s. That is a real time thingy.

The red wire will produce a sawtooth wave.

Sorry meant series. @fatcat2, do you buy much online as in those miscellaneous Ebay packages or at Talkingelectronics.com? Have you looked on the "Wish" app for stuff not available to you locally? Just curious as I'm in a small community where I've had to buy everything online

There is an electronic equipment store in my locality. We give them the list and they give us the components and the bill of the materials. If we buy in bulk, we may even get a discount, sometimes very worthy. There were situations in which I had to order stuff, like ferrite rods, some MOS, certain supercaps (which certainly are available in the shop but the voltage is less),etc. My favourite site is Amazon. I have never used ebay. BTW, I order PCBs through JLCPCB (I didn't expect Chinese stuff to be so nice).
