Sinusoidal frequency divider

The function of this circuit is to divide the frequency of the sinusoidal main signal. From 1kHz, the signal will downed at 500Hz. P.S. Wait 15 seconds for the stabilization of the output.

I think this circuit is not dividing anything because the oscillation frequency of the tank circuit is fixed

@niki, suppose you have a 1kHz sinwave generator but you want 500Hz its working fine for 1kHz/2=500Hz nothing wrong with that!

Yes but with 2khz it should give 1khz and it doesn't! ;-)

@nikisalli the LC resonator is fix calculated with fix capacitor and inductor at 500Hz.. This circuit converts only 1kHz to 500Hz.

The LC oscillator is only to restore the sinewave. You can achieve it with RC filtering but with severe dampening. The circuit is correct.
