the best flyback SMPS i could make.
Specs:
Pin    = 190W
Pout = 120W
Eff.  = ~63%
Iin    = 0.58A
Iout = 10A
Vout = 12V
Vripple = ~150mV with resistive load
Info:
It works at 100Khz and uses two comparators one as error amplifier and one as pwm comparator. It can probably be replicated with an uc384x family chip and a 900V ~10A mosfet. I think an atx transformer can be enough for this purpose

Looks like you burn 190-120=70Watt at the snubber resistor

Do you mean the 1k resistor at the primary of the transformer?

Niki, take an eye on how a snubber is made ( diode, resistor, capacitor) at primary winding. Its now your job to find the best RC combination. Correct topology I can give you here http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5256423211794432
