This is not how an AM wave looks like...

With a spectral view i can see an AM signal, the high pass filter might help trolls to see this as well. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6710725262442496

Then Miguel should add it, right?

AM is AM even you dont see it. So why you say “its not like an AM wave looks like“. Just you dont see it does not mean its not thiere. I can see it, you cant.

If you say so

Instead of “This is not how an AM wave looks like...“ you better write, “i dont see the AM, can you explain“.

Feels good to be right, doesnt it? Normally you are not, so how does it feel?

This is not how English looks like... English does not look like this...

AM does not look like this either

However, it would work if you put this output up into an antenna and then the radiated electromagnetic field would appear as AM

What do you want to tell us with these comments, Zorgrian?

But, somehow, I feel it would be better to start off by having the signal properly modulated rather than this DC varying offset

First and foremost, I should like to explicitly explain how the current circuit would propagate amplitude modulated carrier waves, when connected to an antenna

Even though it is a rubbish design

Then, secondly I would explain some elements of English language construction

I feel this explains itself

By Us... Do you mean the 'Royal We?'

@hurz is right ... Although the basic circuit is horrible, the amplitude modulation is there. That is about as final as I can be bothered with

I guess I got it now. Thanks.
