maxmax, you are somewhat right, but a circuit with the main feature of a button is far away from awesome!

He made a working circuit that does exactly what he intended it to do. Why wouldn't a beginner find that amazing. I found his enthusiasm and lack of pretence refreshing. He was polite, sincere and gracious, and rather than encourage him some of you chose to belittle his achievement. This is not the way to elicit a beginners interest in electronics.

@maxmax_66: You're right, it might be amazing for HIM, but shouldn't he be learning - in addition to electronics - the difference between finding something amazing and it really being amazing? If someone living alone far from everything we see every day it definitely will be amazing for him to see water "coming out of a wall" while the rest of the world would be bored to death when he's telling about that "miracle". After a while people would ignore him and wouldn't listen to him anymore. So, instead of shouting out how amazing everything new is, he - in my opinion - should draw his little circuits an ask the other users how it works so he can understand and learn. And I'm sure the guys here would stop writing comments about stupidity instantly and help him on his way.

@BigB. I think some of you stand to learn more from him than vice-versa. Start with a bit of humility and work on it from there.

Besides, your "miracle" analogy begs correction. If anyone from anywhere managed to hook up a system that delivered running water to a spigot (something obviously taken for granted in your narrow point of view) for the first time, they should be proud of themselves. Whatever else you have to say on the subject, Mehmet didn't just witness it and talk on about it, he built it. Show a little maturity.

Sorry, maxmax_66, I really thought you were open for arguments. I tried to find some common ground, but as you've shown you don't want to understand, even if - I'm sure - you can. You're obviously one of those "I'm always right, my thoughts are the only true ones"-guys. If you pick up things incorrectly (on purpose?) and try to argue on that base it is useless to go on, because you're not looking for a solution, but for your victory. I'm really sorry for you.
