Will it work if i take a transformer and a current rectifier sand plug it directly to an hho generator or will it boil the water?

I looked over HHO generator or Brown's generator information on Internet. It is adding hydrogen to other fuels to burn better. Pulse width modulation is used to adjust hydrogen amounts to engine speeds. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-assemble-a-HHO-Generator-and-why-it-works/

Alternating current boils water. Hydrogen generators require direct current. Gases can be separated by encapsulating the anode and the cathode with a semipermeable membrane.
