Inverting Zero crossing Detector

In this circuit, the signal is connected to inverting input and the non inverting input is grounded. In this case , the output is inverted with respect to the input signal . Refer to the zero crossing detector for working except the inversion of signal.

A = 200,000 --> (open loop) Vout = Vin × A = 5 × 100,000 = 100,000,000V !!!!! - The op amp's output voltage is never higher than the supply voltage V+ and V- that's why the sine wave will turn into a square wave. The maximum inputvoltage before the signal starts changing = 15/200,000 = 75uV
