Just kind of fiddling around

I'm trying to make the lights flicker back and forth. I'm just messing around with this, but would be very grateful if anyone could help me out :)

remove the capacitor in between the two leds as its blocking the dc from flowing through one of the leds and increase the voltage of the led supply to 3v

The use of the mosfet is what is making the ac led supply turn to dc
