For a diy subwoofer taking in both battery and power adapter voltages (different voltages) and hard wired single channel unbalanced audio line signal to be internally amplified
Inrush 10A. The diode on the right isolating the boosted 54v from back feeding is inside the sub. No need to ever feed over 50v, so cap bank is limited by input power and voltage. If we need to liberate the boost converter, cap bank max volt needs to be changed to like 64v bank not 25v bank - so much more expensive.
Two diodes on the left, are to provide load sharing in very stupid way. Simple is better. Must handle high current, each.
8 dip switch: 1 indicator on off.
All optimized for physical location layout as is - so things don’t blow up - and less likely to short critical paths. The mini caps in the middle is my connector pin definition layout.
Note to self: all top left switches are just for simulation and must not be implemented.
Do two barrel jacks for two 24v ish inputs. And one empty unconnected for 54v high voltage green wire.
Weird parts to gather:
Huge 25v pack use over voltaged at 27v or so 2 cell batteries lifepo4 or lipo.
8 dip switch
3.5mm audio jack for pcb
Big 3ohm resistor 5-10 watt
And a good switch to go with it. normally closed momentary switch will do.
1 kohm pot, satisfying and low noise.
3 sets of diodes to handle 10A continuously
4 yellow, 1r 1g 1b leds. If want, add 2 green/blue at yellow clamping (no need)
