Ok what's the deal with the mosfet driver circuits? What are we doin' with 'em? What're we making? What in the world needs 155A at 200KHz??..

many things my especially in industry my dear watson. saving of space is large so more can be fitted on same area to increase efficiency. but personally it's dead end imo. production managers place insane demands cuz have deep inside that those are far more than stupid and exhibit their lack of knowledge. best if u design power supply having infinite output power and ocupy zero space and after u make those they will want a twice more lol. ok i dramatize a little too much but this example is not a rare case. but certainly we go a little too far.

Ok, a heater makes sense- thanks faceblast. Can the mosfet & trannie really handle all that power? Just seems like a lot is all..

And yes Holmes, i'm afraid I know exactly what you mean- I've had times when I was sure my 'overseer' couldn't be made happy if he saw me fly with his own eyes! Most likely I would then be scolded for not revealing my 'talent' sooner, and subsequently burdened with additional tasks to be "...carried out immediately!". Ha!..

power in simulation is a bit excessive, but it shows just how "on" the mosfet is.
