Strange Oscillator

While exploring emitter coupled logic I decided to chain three inverters to make an oscillator. Unfortunately the capacitance was too low or something and it didn’t oscillate. So I increased it to five inverters and it did oscillate. But if the power supply voltage goes too high it displays strange behavior. Compare 5, 8, 10, and 20 volt power supplies. No strange behavior on 5 volts. Weak strange on 8 volts. Stronger on 10. Very strong on 20.
