Pwm circut with modifier.
The left potmetre is used to controll frequency, the right is used to controll duty cycle.

Use the sin source to kickstart the circut, then turn it of again.

I found it easier to use a 555 for the timing circuit then using the comparator to drive a transistor.

Your design does not involve any 555 timers and you can simply implement using 2 op amps. Be careful though about the slew rate because it limits the output PWM frequency.
