In this schematic we open one of two transistors with stealing current from the opposite one in the process.
200k and 105k Resistors are feeding "hold me open" current for a transistor, which is less then "open me" current
Both 1k Resistors deliver the extra kick opening the transistor they are connected to. (the 200k or 105k still holding them open)
When another transistor kicks in - it RIPS off the current from another's transistor base, forcing him to shut down.
Other two Resistors just help to balance the current.
