Black and Decker drill nicad charger

I'm not recomending this circuit for charging nicads, this is what is actually in my drill's charger. The transformer supplies 26v at 260mA, no current limiting, the transistor is a 2N3906.

As you said, the transformer is limiting the current. 26V and max 260mA makes an internal resistance of ~100Ohm as current limiter.

Yes, there is one, I didn't put it in, this is just the pcb part.
