Takes no current on standby momentary long term use unit will power down when timed out you can put small beeper next to the led and ground if don't need high current drive you can remove lamp drive transistor and base resistor and run unit on a 9 volt PP3 battery
For 10 mins change timing 470 uf to 1000 uf and 47k to 600k
The bottom switch is power down
Scope the Ammeter to see Current Drain
