This circuit should be OK because tried actually is made by . Operating range is 5V ~ 12V.

Oh , I'm sorry . Try using a current mirror circuit . In that case, the operation range is 5V ~ 12V.

First, opamp is operating with +-15V (suppose to be +-5?), second the opamp output looks quite distorted cuz of this pullup diodes which seems to be wrong or at least i dont see why they are at this place. Something is very wrong here and will cause bad performance with real opamps. Cheers.

One usually wants to see the output signal larger than the input yeah? Does the schematic call for a particular OpAmp?..
