Mechanics in times past would increase brightness of vehicle lights for customers by connecting both filaments in headlight to come on when the headlight switch was pulled. As drivers grow older and driving areas and light conditions change, what would be most helpful to change on your lighting system? Four lights on dim aimed at road, off road with more lights higher, add cornering lights, fog lights, accessory lamps, need to use high beam more at intersections when turning and no other vehicles around early in mornings? Government laws do set limits on light system but increased results may still be lawful.
