Tried with lamps, it's unreadable at full speed! Had to slow down the sim speed to less than half so it's legible. Dammit

Maybe if each letter could stand still for a x time, before it starts moving again it will become crystal clear.

Will have to start from scratch to do that. Maybe that's what I'll need to do... Well this will keep me occupied for the next few loo visits, ha ha

I am sure you'll mange it. Our vision as you know, does not see anything moving faster than 1/16 th. Of a second, i think thats 62 mS. In the old movie projectors every frame was held for 1/16 th of a second before another frame, but we see a moving picture. So a moving movie is not moving continuously at all. It is a slide show each slide is displayed 1/16 th of a second..,, we need 1/16th of a second to see, not bad for a biological system..!! I wonder if it can be simulated with EC.! That gives me an idea.

Your ideas are welcomed, so what is it so I may rip it off, lol kidding

The idea,! Said already,, you are more likly to do it than i, don't matter who does it, if its possible at all. A movie. EC movie 🎥.

Hmm I get the drift. But it's gonna be a challenge (maybe impossible) to fit. What are we animating and how many frames before it loops? Then gotta think of the minimum resolution we can get it to be convincing

Anything at all. even a dott or a line, moving. Just one frame. A bit like gif. Or tumblr. It coulf judt be a a maggot moving arround.. Or a dot bouncing back.. Think will hsve to what nearest to hand when and what fits as we go along..

Here's a wriggley worm thingy I done from awhile back, but it's not being animated in the style your asking about... http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5039602113183744

Thats the best it can be done. The last one, almost perfect. I ve been trying to get same done in the screen with voltage, current display,,, a bit like the bouncing ball someone posted earlier, but blancking the screen between frames, , exactly like what you ve done, with lamps.

Try using the Not gate like how I done. Have NOT gates on each node on the voltage dividers, the NOT gates driving each node on a series string of lamps/leds. In effect your getting XOR on the threshold voltages (it will turn on the lamp between the NOT gate that has switched and the NOT gate that hasn't)

Before EC had added gate propagation delays years ago, I had great fun using XOR gates directly to drive individual leds/lamps (the NOT gates demo are a workaround), the XOR gates used in the voltage dividers with a resistor between its inputs to switch fully on only on the crossing of half their rated voltage, can be used nicely for zero crossing detector and also frequency doublers. Ahh those were the days ;) Now all those circuits have stopped working cos the devs have changed the gates characteristics :(

Thank you for the wonderful links @roops.... they got ⚡..... Yea the developres, don'y have the spark, their upgrade should not undermine previous versions,, they ought to have provided a switch in the gate menus.. (commercial ism, i guess).

besides can see the word stronger, I also see the word faster😁
