If you increase the voltage input to the mosfet the output signal is reduced. edit: in real life use a jfet not mosfet (sadly EC doesn't have them)

built it test it and see what it does for you. Dont forget the body diode (dont dream) with 650mV threshold. THD will be very high or even inacceptable.

Your supposed to use a jfet not a mosfet in real life, but if you really want to use a mosfet then you can just ad a capacitor between the mosfet and the resistor.

a capacitor wont help, it just limits the max frequency and hides the body diode problem. Sadly you can not just replace the mosfet with a jfet in real. For a jfet you would need a different biasing. So what is this circuit usefull for? As long you do not know how to emulate jfet in everycircuit, this circuit with mosfet is useless.

its like you put an AND gate and say sadly everycircuit does not have an Intel iCore 7...

@hurz fine forget about the capacitor just use two mosfets in series with body diodes pointing in oposite directions that will work fine. Its pretty simple to figure out the biasing of the jfet and change the input voltage your using. I know this may be hard for you to believe @hurz but a jfet is actually a lot simpler than an iCore 7 so that is not a valid point.
