quizshow buzzer mosfets I have 2 n channel mosfets and 2 p channel mosfets. And lots of npn and pnp bjts. I made this circuit with n channel mosfets. I tried to make sth similar with 2 n channel and 2 p channel mosfets. It was a fail in ec. I thought it is about e.c. but it didnt work on the breadboard either. I used p channel mosfets to lock the other n channel mosfet. I guess there s sth i dont know about p channel mosfet. Is there anyone who can tell me what the problem is?

You present configuration will only work with specific FETs and low current Leds, your circuit layout is not the easiest to fault find, try http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5406945359167488

Thank for the help BillyT . You are always helpful. You are always helpful. I appreciate that. I used irf9504 for n channel as far as i remember. I know that the mosfet should work in logic levels. I dont know what else i should look for. If you have any suggestions i am all ears. Thank you again

The original circuit did not firmly latch to the first button pressed, also there was not enough current to drive 20 mA Leds, In real life the Fets would have a lot higher gain and then the transistor biasing resistors would have to be changed to latch them.
