If you not good with circuits (just in case), I can help you learn about it. (BTW, if you have a question, you can bookmark this so you can see my answer.)

I was thinking earlier today that there can't be many people on EC who know more about the logic things than you, and now you are moving on to some other areas too and offering to help others. You are a credit to the EC community, and I have you bookmarked.

Need help . I have a signal bleed problem. My innovate LC-1 air fuel meter is putting my Autometer Elite tachometer into programing mode.

The LC-1 has data com that for some reason sends the elite tachometer into programing mode.the only wire that are connected for this to happen are positive and negative of both devices. Can I use a capacitor across the positive negative wire's to fillter out.

Yeah, and I'm not good with naming, but sometimes I can remember names, for example: 7422; quad 2-I put NAND gate.

Input.

I don't know what you are good in, but 7400 is a quad 2-input NAND and 7422 is a Dual 4-input NAND.

@duratec: some times these things are defective. Contact the manufacturer for help. Its most likely a chevy anyway, its the most aftermarket info in the world. Dont share wires also.

I have contacted the manufacturer. They're not intrested in helping solve this problem. The only wiring shared is at fuse box and ground. So it's a problem that needs an answer. So question is will a capacitor between positive and negative work as a filter to a digital signal?
