I need some help wit this. I would like to connect 14 LEDs to a 9v battery but I am not good at electronics. This is just some idea that I have, I want to surprise my girlfriend for Valentines day. Thank You in advance!

In your desing you connected all they​ leds in series so you will need much more voltage to make leds to bright. You need to connect every led in parallel. To put it easy you have to connect every arrow tip to negative and the other side to positive. Ground is connected to negative. You ll also need 330ohms resistors 1/8w for every led or you ll burn them.

You can change resistor values from 100ohms to 500ohms

Motor powered rotary switch was early neon sign light chaser. If Direct Current motor, direction changes by reversing battery connections.
