Shows good basic design principles. A few points for thought, design it around 13.2V, real world timing is a 1second rate. R1 should be 10th R2 for A square wave output. Normal diodes could be used instead of Zener Diodes. There are a few other design changes that could be implemented to further improve this circuit. I think for a turn indicator there are better ratios then 1:1 the off time keep short while on much longer. This is given with two times 10kOhm. The zener are useless.
