Im driving this TC at Fo, with a 9kV square wave voltage source just to see what would happen. 
 All components values are from "Zeus" a coil whose construction is the subject of a wonderfully comprehensive book called "The Tesla Coil" by Christopher Gerekos available freely online.

Now i can't seem to get past 1.48MV.. Im having trouble keeping the output stable above a MV after about 200-300 cycles. It seems to lock in in phase after a while and the primary current surges and the voltage gain falls to closer to the turns ratio. Are there any real world coilers out there?
