Pretty close, but you forgot the current limiters. If you put this together with real components, wear safety glasses! LEDs go pop..

Ok good you're getting closer. Now your LEDs won't pop but it's not quite right yet. For one, at only 3V those 500uF capacitors are a bit much (unless you're going for a flash rate that slow). And I'm not sure if you could buy a capacitor with that value- a 470uF would be more like it. Also the connections to your transistors are reversed. The LED+ series resistor should tie into each collector, and the load resistor+ negative cap terminal tie into the base. Emitter goes to ground..
