To actually answer your question, YES you can resolve this circuit using KVL. Superposition is the method applied when multiple independent sources are present in the circuit, but still requires the use of voltage or current analysis using either KVL or KCL. With this approach (superposition) you evaluate each independent source individually, then add the results. To do this, you can use either mesh current (loop) analysis, applying KVL for each mesh (loop) within the circuit, or you can use node voltage (nodal) analysis, applying KCL for each node within the circuit. It comes down to personal preference which method you use (mesh or node analysis), but ideally you should choose the one with the least amount of work, or fewest steps to solve. In this case, I would go with nodal analysis using KCL, personally.
