2 Capacitors doubled equal single value

WRONG ANSWER. 2 Caps of the same value in series are equal to half the capacitance bof one of the caps. C=1/(1/c1+1/c2....) 2 caps in parallel are added together for the total capacitance C=c1+c2....

2 caps of the same value should work at half the value. I.e. 2 2mF caps = 1mF. But this circuit does not show that.

20mA for each branch of circuit, going off individually.

20mA because in both cases the resistance is dominant. Go up to 1s/s simspeed and see the different tau behaviour. Hope that helps.
