Basic combination of a clamper and a half-wave rectifier circuit.

The idea behind the circuit is to determine the peak-to-peak voltage of an AC signal and give the result as a DC voltage.  This is done be first offsetting the signal (The clamper part) and then turning it into a DC voltage (The HW rectifier part).
