components in grey are taken out of simulation. You missed the pull down or up resistors or use switches with two fixed logic voltages (logic trains) to connect input of logic gates. Your AND demonstratiom just looks ok, but try the same with an OR to demonstrate and you will see it does not work. BTW, ignore the trolls and everycircuit is fun again.
