Only works with the right sim speed
This is a colpits oscillator with a slightly non standard topology. It's ideal as a VFO. I've used this style of colpits in the regenerative receiver that I posted a while back which in reality is disciplined with a resonator. Even with the ceramic resonator, the frequency can be pulled by 300khz. This is due to the inductor that I hung off the resonator.
It has a very useful stability over a relatively large frequency range. Here I've shown it running from 7.5 volts
