Die Lampe wird, unabhängig von der Eingangsspannung, immer mit der gleichen Stromstärke versorgt. Die maximale Spannung an der Lampe ist auf maximal 12v geregelt. Statt der Lampe wird ein Akku verbaut und die Schaltung dient zur Begrenzung der Ladeendspannung und des max Ladestroms. Anwendung findet die Schaltung im Ebike als Ladeschaltung vom Pufferakku für den GPS Tracker und der Alarmanlage.
