This is a 2 Bit Relay operated Division Machine. 4 Dividends 0 1 2 3 and 3 Divisors 1 2 3 should be use. Here it is showing 3/2 Q=1 and R=1. Wait for 10 to 15 seconds to stabilize all Relays to produce proper answer. Lot of tutorials and videos are there in internet but all are theories. No where you can see any simple circuit or logic to make a model for project work. Though it is difficult to make the model until you are getting circuit diagram, yet giving some hints, that may help you to build the project. The model is running simple subtraction method. As it is a 2 Bit machine so two subtractions are required. A(3) / B(1) a1=1 a0=1, b1=0 b0=1. First subtract b1b0 from an imaginary 0 and a1. So first subtraction will (0 1)-(0 1) Difference 0. As no Borrow out is there so Quaint will be 1, then your next subtraction will be (first subtraction answer and a0) minus b1b0. So again (0 1)-(0 1). So again Quaint will be 1 and Difference will be 0 and that is the Remainder. So 11/01 Q=11, R=0 If first subtraction produce Borrow out then Quaint will be 0 and and next subtraction will be a1a0 minus b1b0. As for example A(3) / B(2). First subtraction (0 a1) - (b1b0) that is (0 1)-(1 0) Difference -1 means Borrow out is there. So Quaint will be 0 and next subtraction will be (a1 a0)-(b1 b0) that is (1 1)-(1 0) Difference 1 that is Remainder and no Borrow out so Quaint will be 1. So 11/10 Q=01, R=01. This way model is running on.
