Space is hard to come by I edited it so the carrier wave is slower than the signal. Kind of makes it easier to see how the signal is encoded onto a tone from the ”synthesizer”.

What function does this vocoder perform?

It splits the input signal frequencies into bands which then modulate a carrier wave, split with identical bandpass filters, with the result. The triangle wave at the top is a placeholder for the synthesizer input.

Since the frequencies that can be simulated need to be pretty close to each other, the bandpasses don’t work as well as I’d like and I don’t think I’d have room to make active filters, heh

Maybe LC-filters would work better, haha. I'm really not very knowledgeable in the art of electronics. More of a copypasting tinkerer.
