NOT gate with discrete transistors, this has been used to turn two optocouplers in a negated manner with respect to each other. To not depend on an integrated circuit.

Hi! Nice circuit. I'm looking for a similar circuit but using 24VDC. The goal must be actually 0V on the output when it is on zero state, because it will invert a sensor output and after that it will feed a PLC input, which is very sensitive to low voltages, and thus may activate if the current is not near zero. Thanks!
