Ok Let's get a couple of things straight. This circuit is built to demonstrate the concept of switching mode wall adaptors, and cannot be built in real life. Who even uses a logic gate and op amp for feedback?
There are unacceptably huge voltage spikes at the drain of the MOSFET. That'll kill it. I'm not able to get rid of it though.
