Protects the Li-ion charger from placing the cell in reverse. The circuit can also be used to protect the load from source reversal.

Two circuits are shown. Top circuit uses a P-Channel MOSFET and the the bottom circuit is the N-Channel version. Choose MOSFET with low RdsOn when building the circuit.

Doesn't work with passive loads.
