This Circuit will used to convert A.C. Voltage into Pulsatic D.C. Voltage. As well as will convert your high Voltage into low Voltage.

Added the bottom circuit, it is in a conventional layout format. Basically the original circuit layout lacks earthing and a AC power supply. 230Vac RMS = 325Vac peak. A non center tapped transformer cannot output to a diode circuitry in the layout shown. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5412871602438144

This circuit will not work as u r using a dc source. What is the adv. If u r converting dc into dc with low voltage. But this is not the major problem. U r connecting dc source with a transformer, in such situation current will not flow from transformer. Thats y ur circuit is not working
