Can someone please explain why this isn’t working??? Here’s how it’s supposed to work: The negative voltage opens the gate of the P-channel mosfet, which allows current to flow to the gate of the N-channels mosfet and the 2.2k pulldown resistor. When the N-channel mosfet opens up, it discharges the gate of the P-channel mosfet. This causes voltage to stop entering the gate of the N-channel mosfet, which allows it to discharge through the pulldown resistor. Now that both mosfet are off, the cycle repeats.
