In EveryCircuit Logic Source is equivalent to a 5V battery

The "Logic source" component behaves the same as a 5V battery Note the current is identical.

Yeah, of course you've got the same current through the resistor, all in all it's the same equation. Keep in mind that the program deals less with components for what they are, but more with how they are going to affect the outcome and the circuit as a whole. So yeah, the logic source pad could be seen like a battery but really one shouldn't think if it as such. You know the pads mean to represent right?..

Hi Sine_eyed - no, not yet (answering your question at the end), I can only guess at the digital pins in, say, my Pi or Arduino where the voltages are 0 or 5V.
